Karin Christof founded and directed the project space Agentur in the Baarsjes in Amsterdam. Together with a changing team of curators, they discussed and showcased new artistic tendencies within the contemporary art world in an informal and salon-like setting. The different curators and artists included Inti Guerrero (CO), Lars Eijssen (NL), Ula Tornau (LT), Vera Lauf (D), Francesco Bernardelli (I), Delphine Bedel (F), Tilmann Meyer-Faje (D), Miruna Dragan (CAN) and Nils van Beek (NL).
From 2004 till 2012, Agentur was part of Transartists as well as ResArtis, providing an international Artist-in-Residence for artists as well as curators and researchers.
